Something Part of Me

Today, I cried.

Our office boy, Sajeer, came to me and gave me three mails. 2 are from J.Tills. One was a postcard and another letter contained mint stamps and a short note. I was so elated I could not stop crying. I remember the wonderful old days when I used to collect stamps and send postcards.

I joined Postcrossing a few months back and received the postcard today. It is such a good feeling to get in touch with something in your life that you used to treasure so much. I have almost forgotten how good it is to get new stamps and postcards. I am so happy.

It is still a very beautiful world.

Half an hour later on the phone:

S: M*&^%$ F*$%#&s! Lousy bastards. How can they come to office like this??
Me: Eew. Watch your language. How can you tell me not to say them and you say them? That's not fair.
S: Because it does not suit you.
Me: Huh? And what makes you think it suits you?
S: Well, does a mustache look good on you?

On Feline Friends:

Me: Hello, is this Feline Friends?
FF Girl: Yes, how may I help you?
Me: Oh, I would like to know where and when can I schedule my cat Lewis for castration?
FF Girl: Oh, what kind of cat do you have?
Me: Its a pavement special cat.
FF Girl: Oh, it is your pet?
Me: Yes, a couple gave him to me coz they cannot take care of him.
FF Girl: Oh, I am sorry but we don't do castration for pet cats, we only do it with stray cats.
Me: Well, if you don't schedule him for castration soon, he is getting naughtier by day then he will be a stray cat. .
FF Girl: Oh, okay then, let me schedule your cat, what's his name?
Me: Lewis.

So, Lewis will be less of a man-cat on the 28th of May this year.
