The Goodness of Ramadan

I love Ramadan for so many reasons....

Office timings are shorter.. we work only from 9am till 3pm...

I am disciplined in what I eat (because I fast and eat only by 6pm)

The shopping malls are open till 2 in the morning (that means, you can actually look forward to the night and have options to not just go to the bar like normal days of the year but can still wander in the mall till you get tired, or till they close.)

Most people are kind (maybe because they are hungry and do not want to exert any effort, and you don't expect drunk people on the streets because although now alcohol as per the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.)

You do not read much about suicide bombers during Ramadan on the news.

I also get part time jobs at night at Exhibit Centers for Ramadan and could earn at least Aed.2,000.00 for just ten days.
